Depart from Moshi or Arusha. Take a scenic, off-the-beaten-path drive winding through dry savannah plains, Maasai territory, and beautiful sugarcane plantations with stunning views of Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
Arrive at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (also known as Chemka Hot Springs). Plunge into the stunning, crystal-clear turquoise waters. The natural geothermal pool stays warm and inviting all year round, surrounded by giant, centuries-old fig trees.
Dry off and enjoy a fresh, hot Swahili lunch or a premium picnic box. Sip on fresh coconuts, relax on the swing ropes, and watch local divers show off their incredible acrobatics.
Spend the afternoon sunbathing, swimming, or spotting wild monkeys in the overhead canopy. By late afternoon, pack up and enjoy the drive back to Moshi or Arusha as the sun begins to set.
