Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
A warm welcome to Rwanda, Airport picks up and transfer to you prefers hotel of early take a Quick Kigali city tour. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel.
Day 2
Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe forest national park
After breakfast drive to Nyungwe National Park. Drive through the mountainous landscape and sceneries several stopovers to capture the enchanting landscapes at Butare National Museum, Nyanza (Rukali) and other areas. Late afternoon checks in at One & Only Nyungwe House
Day 3
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking or Canopy Walk or nature walk or birding
Early breakfast. Go to Nyungwe forest to track chimpanzees guided by rangers. hike through the verdant forest, sporting various primates such as monkeys, a spectacular birdwatcher Paradice. A great opportunity to see chimpanzees, you will observe them play, feed and rest. Your allowed to take numerous pictures. Hike back for lunch and later take forest walk to the beautiful twin lakes and more bird species. Dinner and overnight One & Only Nyungwe House
Day 4
Day 4: Transfer from Nyungwe Forest National Park to Lake Kivu
After breakfast drive to Lake Kivu for the day. later Transfer to Gisenyi-waterfront for an orientation and lunch at a local hotel with amazing scenic views. Before boarding a motor boat for the Lake Kivu excursion around various islands in the lake as well as local fishermen village tours. Overnight Kivu Serena Hotel
Day 5
Day 5: Transfer from Lake Kivu to Volcanoes National Park
Early breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park. Another day on the road snaking along the enchanting mountainous country side full of breathtaking views points. Donner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Hotel.
Day 6
Day 6: Gorilla trekking adventure and Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast the long-awaited gorilla trekking. Drive to the park for orientation. Gorilla Trekking takes approximately two to six hours. The experience is tedious but impressive when you finally face the mountain gorillas. You’ll spend an hour with the gorilla families as they go about their day-to-day routine activities; mothers caring for the young, playing as well as feeding. You are required to maintain a distance while you watch them, right after trekking, transfer back to Kigali for your departure flight.
